About the Author
Henry Law (1797-1844) was one of the most eminent leaders of the evangelical party in the Church of England in the last century. When Spurgeon said in his series 'The gospel in the Pentateuch' that 'Law abounds in gospel', he was making a characteristic pun, but was also speaking the simple truth.
